< Who would have thought that in 1952, a local “bathing beauty” competition spearheaded by Catalina Swimwear in Long Beach, CA would transform into an international annual tradition with countless young women around the world vying to become a part of Miss Universe history?
Since 2008 we’ve been part of that tradition creating all the screens design and programming for Miss USA and Miss Universe LIVE telecasts.

< The Aquarium of the Pacific is the fourth largest aquarium in the nation. It displays over 11,000 animals in more than 50 exhibits that represent the diversity of the Pacific Ocean.
In 2010 we designed the lighting for the new Sea Otters habitat and visitor area. While in 2011 we’ve been developing designs for the two million dollar expansion project “Science on A Sphere.”
We’ve previously designed the lighting for the Great Hall (pictured) and since then have developed and implemented designs for several galleries including Ocean on an Edge, Catch a Wave and “Whales, A Journey With Giants”.

< A much cherished annual tradition since 1972, “Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” is the most popular way for viewers to ring in the New Year, both in the US and worldwide. Hosted by Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest, the show is a New Year’s staple with live performances in New York along with the iconic Times Square ball drop.
We were brought in on the project by lighting designer Lee Rose (Design Partners), to create and program the screens content for the Los Angeles taping, hosted by Fergie from “The Black Eyed Peas”.

< Watching this show may make your brain explode. Hold on to the couch while you watch kids compete in quick-moving, mind-bending challenges. Host, Jeff Sutphen, guides the competitors through three levels of challenges. One wrong answer could mean a trip down the Brain Drain. Or a Face Wall suck. Kids who are eliminated do not leave empty-handed, but the winner gets the ultimate prize…a gigantic, messy, victory Sliming!
Our design intent was to make over 2000 Versa-Tubes active and play off the fun set. We created many elements for each game play that tied the lighting and screens elements together. The final result was awesome, OMG and some LOL. Truly one of our favorite and most creative projects. IKR! (I Know Right!)
