Bounce, The Palladium
Lighting Director & Programmer

< Michael Feinstein, Artistic Director of The Center for the Performing Arts, delivered this touching tribute to Frank Sinatra live at The Palladium. The show was both inspiring and intimate. It included the greatest hits by Frank Sinatra as well as songs by artists who were influenced by him or who were considered influential to him. The show was produced in front of a live audience and recorded to air on PBS stations across the country.

IFC, Los Angeles, CA
Lighting Director & Programmer

< As the first event to honor independent film exclusively, the Film Independent Spirit Awards has made a name for itself as the premier awards event for the independent film community. It’s a celebration of the spirited pioneers who bring a unique vision to filmmaking.

Keeping with its roots and L.A. location, the Spirit Awards takes place each year inside a beachfront tent in Santa Monica. Currently in its 26th year, the show is as original as the films and filmmakers it honors.

Lighting Director & Programmer

< The concerts, celebrating the history and grandeur of this prestigious “temple of music,” featured performances and appearances by Christoph Eschenbach, Sting, Rod Stewart, Billy Joel, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Renee Fleming, Blue Man Group and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Hosts have included Tom Brokaw, Blythe Danner and Chris Matthews.

The programs reflect the wide array of genres—opera, orchestral music, Broadway musicals, pop—that have found a home at the Academy, a National Historic Landmark.

Hollywood Theatre, Las Vegas
Screens Producer & Lighting Designer

< Working with production designer Bruce Ryan and Lily Tomlin, we created all the screens content and lighting designer for her one-woman act at the Hollywood Theatre at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

With a large 50′ wide x 30′ tall rear-projection screen, we had a very large canvas to work with. Considering we were the lighting and screens designers, we were able to tie them seamlessly together. This “backstage” look with the swagged drapes behind Lily in this photograph is one of these seamless projections with a very complimentary lighting plan.
